Stunning Polish

I was wearing this color when I went to buy some very conservative polish.  It looked fun and so I impulsively picked this up.  


Now, don't you think that this is some stunning polish? 


I did my nails as soon as I got home while talking a blue streak to Mr. Bill about a class I had just attended.  
I left the paraphernalia on the table and waved my hands around drying them while he and I watched TV.

We spent all day together the next day without a word about the neon blue, but I noticed he moved all the manicure paraphernalia and I got a "look" as he remarked that this was HIS table area.  



 I was sure when we went to church that evening a possible scathing remark would be forthcoming from my conservative man.  But he was good.  I matched my clothing to my nails and added some bright green and a multicolored scarf.  You couldn't miss me.  


We were so busy I forgot about everything else.  Another night passed.  When we were out today, I realized this color didn't look good with everything I owned.  It was pretty garish against the yellow and pink.  Maybe I'm not going to love it after all. I don't want to have to change color all the time.  Maybe my pearl pink will be better.

 I handed him a cup of ice water when we went through the drive thru and he did a bit of a double take.  "Wow, blue."  He said mildly

"When did you do that?"

Haha! Ahhh men. They never notice that you've changed something about yourself until about a week later!
I personally LOVE that gorgeous colour and will hunt for a bottle of my own when I am in the US this week! if you think it's a bit much for your fingernails, try using it on your toes instead- you can always get away with super bright colours that way, and they don't clash with clothes! :)

Future Non Scary Trunk or Treat Ideas

We had a Family Fun Night at our church on Wednesday Oct 31 and the public was invited to participate via flyers and signs.  The two hour fun night had several event areas.  In the sanctuary the teens had a fun 10 minute skit they put on every half hour of the evening.  The one side of the church's parking lot had a huge bouncy house and a dozen or so carnival games with prizes and the other side of the church on the parking lot we had a Trunk or Treat.   I participated on the Trunk or Treat event and unfortunately was so busy I didn't get over to the other events for photos. Disney World's Polynesian Resort Hotel

When we first arrived at Disney World we took the boat over to the Magic Kingdom.  Mr. Bill remarked, as we passed the Polynesian Resort, he never had any desire to stay there.  It looked boring to him from the outside.  I hadn't thought much about it, but I did like the lit torches when we passed by on the monorail.  I decided this trip, since we had a free day, we would stop in and tour the three hotels on the line.  We toured the Grand Floridian , the Polynesian Resort and the Contemporary Resort From a distance it doesn't look too exciting.  I could understand his lack of enthusiasm.   When we stepped off the monorail however, the entrance was incredibly gorgeous.  The waterfall was something we hadn't noticed as it was somewhat hidden from the view of the passengers riding.  It was framed by colorful blooms and multiply kinds of foliage.  Completely setting the stage for a visit in the South Seas.   Inside the decor was tropical and spacious with o

James' Summer Plans

Youngest kid, James has a full summer ahead after such a busy spring. This is nothing compared to the events coming up this fall for him! European Festival Tour : The Christian Metal band, The Devil Wears Prada has returned home to the states after a successful two weeks playing music festivals all over Europe. Download Festival, at Donington Park in Leicestershire, England was the final show. Here is a clip just prior to The Devil Wears Prada taking on Main Stage: Download Festival Song Release After arriving home, Ferret Music released one song, Born To Lose, from their highly anticipated album, which will remain unnamed until the release date.
