The Merry Merry Month of May

I was traveling and visiting all last month!  It was very merry being with my family for many graduations and fun events and parties.

First on the hit parade was a trip to Shelly's for her graduation from Liberty University!
She has two teenagers also in college and decided to bite the bullet and attend herself.

First we traveled up to Liberty University for her honor service and graduation
Here she is showing me a coin received for being a military spouse. There was a special ceremony to honor them.

My daughter, Shelly and granddaughter Kyra

The next day was her walk for the diploma!

 My first college graduate!
My girls chose marriage and family first.  I am so proud of them both for going back to college.  My older daughter will graduate in December.

But all this hoopla came in the middle of a move!!
I love the color blue she painted her new living room, Dusty Miller.

The painting was done when I arrived, thankfully, but there was still much to be done.

We stayed in both houses on different nights, cleaning, packing and hauling!

The yard is landscaped well and much was blooming as they moved in.
I loved this really pretty foxglove in her yard
Isn't it perfect for Pink Saturday?

So that encompassed the first leg of the trip!

It's a memorable month for your family Jeannie! I'm sure there will be more over the next years. And I admire that your daughter prioritized family and at the same time, never forgot about her studies. Admirable indeed!
