My Santa Themed Mantel

Simple and sweet this year

Some of my favorite Santas

The painting is an oil reproduction of Monterey California, where it rains instead of snows at Christmas

The windmill Santa on the end is not going to go round and round on the mantel like it does outdoors
but it's getting too old to be outside anymore.

I painted these many years ago.  I never realized that when we got "old" my husband (see banner) would actually look like Santa!  That was 2011.  This year he is clean shaven and has very short hair!  Who knows what next year will bring.  These two didn't make it onto the mantel, but cozied up in the foyer.

The Victorian Santa this year in the sleigh resides side by side with the modern tin Santa that has swinging legs and hung from our tree for many years.

 I love Decembre!

Hi Jeannie Marie,

Firstly, your husband makes a wonderful Santa!! What a lovely banner!:-D Secondly, your Santa collection that graces your mantel, is so very sweet and charming! I also gather Santas wherever I can find them, as I have a passion for this festive and fun man of the hour! Your home glows with coziness!

Merry Christmas!

Hi Jeannie! Merry Xmas!

Thank you for always linking up in my shy Beautiful Sunday series. You just don't know how much I appreciate every effort to link and visit I receive each Sunday.

I admire the sweet and simplicity of your home. I particularly love the uneven rock tiles in your fire place. Very classic and homey with all the Xmas decors.
