The Morocco area of Epcot is really a small labyrinth and fun to explore. The detail of  tiled areas is fascinating as I walked through this large entryway.  Wandering into this courtyard I was reminded of a movie  Hideous Kinky with Kate Winslet, it was about a fascinating trip to India. Looking up, it's a courtyard with a large open ceiling. Columns of tile and engraving hold up the second floor balcony.  The ornate buildings are huge, yet everything is on the street level. Large planters full of these beauties really caught my eye. On a earlier visit in November I had a wonderful lunch at the Tangierine Cafe  The flavors together were incredible.  This platter had chicken, a rice dish, a green vegetable that was amazing, hummus, pita and a white sauce that was delicious on everything. Many people book the Disney Resorts and then spend all their time at the parks.  They rush out first thing in the morning and then come back to their room so tired they fall into bed to rejuvenate for the next day at the next park...spending upwards of $400 a night.  However Disney invites everyone to come and visit the resort even if you are not staying and many of the people wandering around are visitors. The resort hotels are designed to transport you to another place, so even though you are in Florida you are for all intents and purposes actually have traveled to the western Pacific!   First of all parking is free.  You can park up to four hours for free in the hotel parking lot. Inside the resort there is shopping at the gift shops, restaurants open to all and beautiful floral arrangements everywhere.    The decor and art glass are divine! My curiosity about Disney's Contemporary Resort has been piqued ever since my first visit to Disney World the exciting new Monorail shockingly whisked me through the middle of it.  One could see inside, but with only a limited tantalizing view. Disney resorts are open to the public and anyone can visit for up to four hours and enjoy the atmosphere, so we took a day and visited The Floridian Resort , The Polynesian Resort  and the Contemporary Resort Many visits later I was still as intrigued as ever and so was Bill.   We were excited to have the time to finally explore it. On the day we took exploring three Disney resorts, The Contemporary Resort was our second stop. When you step out of the Monorail this view is quite impressive. While in Disney World Bill and I did some hotel hopping.  We visited three of the hotels on the Monorail line.  It was a lot of fun to see the inside, the gardens and pools.  We have seen them from afar for many years but never had the time to take the tour.   While at the Polynesian Resort we impulsively rented a little boat and went out on the lake, cruising by the Disney World entrance!  Who knew this amenity was available to anyone, not just hotel guests.  There is a fee, but it was quite reasonable, especially by Disney standards. We also went by the Disney's Contemporary Hotel and under the Monorail itself! It wasn't until we were out in the middle and on the way back that I noticed the clouds were darkening and a storm was 'abrewing! We made it back in the nick of time with only a sprinkle of rain.  Far less rain though,  than the boat spray in my face and the gallons that splashed in over the edges!  :-) ...
