I've always kept them together.    This beauty has no purpose but to stand there and look good.  From all angles.... I'm being a bit more careful because I don't resell.  All thrift items stay here at Tortoise Cottage and I have to find a niche for them.  I have been thinking of getting a consignment booth but the fear is...it will not pay for itself and all the items will come home to roost.  That has happened before...if you haven't seen the garage of my former home.... see this blog post from last summer when we finally started digging out! Family Time It was an unexpected surprise when I noticed James had an extra day to spend with us!  We didn't spend it running around like crazy people entertaining a beloved guest, we just spent time together, here at home. Which is what you want to do when you're out in the middle of  tour.  But this is a home James is unfamiliar with, his first taste of seeing our belongings in a new house. He was almost two the last time we moved.  Our 17th move in 18 years.  The other children remember other homes and lives, but not James, (born when they were teens and pre teens).  He wandered around for the two minutes it takes to see the house and remarked it could fit into our family room in the other house.  Haha!  True!  Exactly how we want it now. He was quiet, thoughtful and somewhat guarded.  Until he found his blanket.  A tour bus is cold in the winter and summer and James has an awesome blanket..no two.  He bought a twin ...
