What can be nicer than having a Tinkerbell birthday party when you are turning TWO! The first thing is to dress up just like Tinkerbell herself! Have your party in Neverland You will want it outdoors where there is a shadowy lagoon with a volcano, a hot springs and a bridge to fight off pirates or walk the plank! Beyond the lagoon.... a ticking alligator lurks. Also, at a Tinkerbell birthday party, one must serve her guests a beautiful Tinkerbell Cookie Cake! Every little girl believes in fairies and who better to grace her special two year old birthday cake but charming Tinkerbell nestled in a flower! You'll want your very own Peter Pan to assist you in the fine art of opening gifts by the lagoon You can barely see it, but Peter still has his shadow! It is a serious business inspecting gifts among the lost boys and pirates who are clamoring for more of the treasures to be revealed. ...
My granddaughter Lauren graduated in May from Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Kentucky Mom, Dianne, brother Ryan, Lauren and Dad, Chris Congratulations Lauren! After Party at the hotel! My Graduation Portrait of Ryan, who graduated two weeks later from Batavia High School this past May Congratulations Ryan! I had to be sneaky about getting a picture at home! My kids all supportive gathered for Ryans Graduation. from L to R James, Shelly, Dianne and William Later there was a great big party at the house: But no pictures! And Not to be outdone..... Dianne's new pup Finn graduated also! Obediance school is very important!
We had a Family Fun Night at our church on Wednesday Oct 31 and the public was invited to participate via flyers and signs. The two hour fun night had several event areas. In the sanctuary the teens had a fun 10 minute skit they put on every half hour of the evening. The one side of the church's parking lot had a huge bouncy house and a dozen or so carnival games with prizes and the other side of the church on the parking lot we had a Trunk or Treat. I participated on the Trunk or Treat event and unfortunately was so busy I didn't get over to the other events for photos. I was able to photograph some of the other decorated trunks while they were setting up to get future ideas. It was my first time of participating in this kind of event although my grandkids have gone to them in years past. I charged it up a bit with some extras at the last minute, like lights and some other decorations. I repurposed my house decor for one ...
